Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop backend solutions using Python.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with frontend applications or other systems.
- Optimize application performance through efficient database query design and caching strategies.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against vulnerabilities.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in backend development using Python.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, etc.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Proficient in git.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Digital Ocean
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with implementing CI/CD and other DevOps concepts at a team level.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
