Job Title: Java Developer with AWS/Azure Expertise

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure to join our team. This role is crucial for building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications that drive our business forward.
Job Description:
As a Java Developer with AWS/Azure expertise at NepOps, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing cloud-based Java applications. You will collaborate with our DevOps, front-end, and product teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS or Azure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native tools.
- Develop microservices and serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar technologies.
- Automate infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Monitor and manage cloud resources, including databases, storage, and networking, using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and perform regular security assessments.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Java, with experience in frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS or Azure services, including compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
- Experience with cloud-native development, including microservices and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud-based databases like DynamoDB, RDS, Cosmos DB, or similar.
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
